Salem, MA

Healing Winds USA has a new chapter in Salem, MA located at Brewer Hawthorne Cove Marina. In July, 2018, Healing Winds USA landed in Salem’s salty waters. With a warm welcome from the Dock Master, we nestled in and rolled up our sleeves to get this new chapter afloat.

We became members of the Salem Chamber of Commerce and began holding informational gatherings at the marina. Within three short weeks we garnered 40+ volunteers, completed eight mission sails and attended several area events to spread the word of Healing Winds’ Mission.

You can NOMINATE someone who is going through the challenge of Cancer treatment. That person can invite up to eight people to join them on their free 3-hour sail.

We are always looking for GREAT volunteers, Captains, crew and partnerships. Please fill out the form on the volunteer page and we will connect with you shortly thereafter. If you’re interested in forming a partnership with Healing Winds, please email our Executive Director, Suzanne Johnson.

Our organization relies 100% on individual DONATIONS. If you’re compelled to give to our organization, click on the link and give until your heart’s content 🙂

We love the enthusiasm of our sailor friends and volunteers, and encourage you to sign up as volunteer captain or crew! At this time our model is to use our own dedicated vessel for our guest sails. Having a signature vessel serves our interests and those of our guests in a number of ways. It allows us to equip the vessel in a way that maximizes both the comfort and the safety of our guests. Having our own boat also allows us to control all aspects of the guests’ experience and assure the best possible outcomes.
